I tried that several times yesterday. No program can read the current ECU Calibration ID. When any program attempts to, the program throws an error saying there is no communication with the ECU. I believe a bench reset is the only thing that will fix my issue now. Where do I find instructions on removing the ECU? I see where its generally located but I don't know which panels need to come out to get to it.

Pretty sure you just need to remove the glove box and it’s right behind it

Does anyone around the Denver area already have an ECU bench setup working?

See the 2LM instructions. It gets you into the same area.

@Chadr7858 might have a setup but not sure on his availability.

The YotaWerx tune guide supplement includes instructions regarding the location behind the glove box.

I've had this in my cart for making a 12v bench setup, generally speaking. Not for this task, but seems like it would also be helpful if I had this setup and ready.

If you have other uses for it, then it can be helpful. Just saying that you may already have alternatives on hand.

I use this for my test harnesses, it's highly rated per my bro in law who knows more about these things as he works on EV's and builds his own hardware and software:

    https://www.amazon.com/LRS-350-12-E...power+supply&qid=1658786823&sr=8-2-spons&th=1

It's pretty awesome, has all the protection you could want, bulletproof really, and not expensive. Just no fancy LCD display.

Do you by chance have the time to screen shot the error message?

I’m around for a bench flash. If you can bring me your ECU I’ll do it for free. Hope you get things taken care of soon. And thanks @BortisYeltzen for calling this to my attention.

As a side note I will be offering 3GT SC tunes in the future with @JustDSM and @Boltripper. Many 2nd gen owners know them from their phenomenal work and I’m excited to bring some awesome professional tuning in the 3rd gen FI world to the table with them.

Below is a video showing how to remove your ECU by Dave (@dave82at) at Yota Tune in Canada.

Get your ECU out and take it to @MGMSangTaco and see what can be done.

    Good Luck!

Thanks everyone. I'll get the ECU out today. I am really curious now what will happen if we try to force flash the Stryker tune file. I did get the newer Magnuson 04B82 tune from Ryan yesterday as well. I will DM with @Chadr7858 and @MGMSangTaco and will go from there.

Start with the Stock tune. Get your Taco running.
