I am getting a reading of 1.1 (200k). Supposed to be 835-1400. Could this be due to a possible wiring issue? Or if that was the case would I be getting no reading at all? It’s just that if I’m going to remove it & this reading means it’s definitely shot, I might as well wait until I have the new one. On the other hand, if there’s hope, I’ll get in there & look at it 1st.

Your on the 200,000 ohm scale on your meter?

The sensor is unplugged from the harness ?

Your reading is 1.1 or 1100 ohms tells me your in the range.

If you had infinite resistance the sensor would be open depends on your meter some show the infinity sign others say over load.this tells you the sensor has failed.

It might be possible to get 0 resistance with some sort of strange short in the sensor

I was just researching. So yeah,
Thank you. I was slowly coming to realize I was incorrect in my interpretation of the results. I wish I had the electrical basics down. I mean I am ok when the FSM states a range along with the setting. For instance testing the TBS.
Other times when I'm on a mission & get help with it, I'm thinkin' "I got this", & I do, until it's a bit down the road & another issue comes up. I do retain a little each time, so that's somethin'.

Ok. Wait. Noggin is pondering it again. I was getting screwed up over conversion. I watched a vid in which the guy set it at 20k. Then another in which it was set at 200k. They each got 2.1 & then both converted to 2,100. This made me tilt. I see now that in each scenario, it was just a matter of moving the decimal over three.
