For my lockers, I bought this switch:
    https://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-dual-push-switch-for-toyota-front-rear-lock-symbol/
But, the solenoids for my lockers are only 5w.
    https://www.amazon.com/ARB-180103-Replacement-Solenoid/dp/B00042JHT4
    So using a calculator, https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/conversions/common/watts-amps.php
    12v 5w = 0.416667 amps
Meaning the solenoids are waaaay under 3 amps, and should be fine without using relays.

    ...right?

You should be fine. ARB does not run the solenoids through a relay but they do use a higher rated switch. I would run this circuit through a 5A fuse.

I think I figured one time the solenoids can pull almost 1 amp. That might've come from measuring the resistance and assuming 14V or something. I don't remember.

Good idea on the low amperage fuse, I can use that to ensure I don’t burn the switch.

Update: I've been using this with no issue since installation.
