I've tried to read as many of the older 2WD 5 lug suspension threads as I could find on this site before asking my question but I am still a bit confused.

I have a 2000 Extended Cab 2WD 5 lug automatic transmission truck with 130k miles. I inherited this a while ago from my dad who had used it only sparingly during his retirement. While oil changes were done and the paint and interior were spotless, not much else in terms of maintenance was ever done to the truck. I performed all fluid, spark plugs, belts, radiator and drive train type maintenance already on the truck. However, I believe the suspension is in dire need of attention. I am posting a few pics. Looking at the pics don't tell me much but I am hoping others on here may be able to tell me what needs done by looking at them.

I have read that I should be looking to replace my ball joints (upper and lower). I believe the appropriate toyota part numbers for these are:

    Lower Ball Joint Right 4333039565
    Lower Ball Joint Left 4334039445
    Upper Ball Joint Right 4335039105
    Upper Ball Joint Left 4336039095

It is unclear to me if these part numbers include the needed bolts or not?
If not, is part number 9008010123 what I need (and how many)?

    Anything else I should replace?
Do the coil springs look worn? I don't believe the Toyota springs are still an option. If that is the case, what should I use?
I see Billstein shocks are on the truck and I think they are 5-6 years old at this point. Should I be looking a new shocks too?
    What about the leaf springs?

Sorry for all the questions but I hoping to tap the collective wisdom of those here.
    Thanks!

I can't confirm your part number is correct but yes replacing Ball joint is 1st priority. Truck is a 5 lug so just double check those are for 5 lug truck and not a 6lug. New lower balljoi ts should Include a new cotter pin and the nut.Rust isn't a issue for your truck that's great. If there is salt where you live get that truck undercoated to preserve the metal. At that mileage your shocks, coils and bushings are at there age.

Much appreciate the response. To be extra careful I had my trusted local mechanic take a look as well. He said they are safe to drive but would replace upper and lower ball joints proactively. He also thought shocks and springs were fine. This place is spot on with its advice!
