I recently picked up a set of Bilsteins for my truck, they were new but old stock. I believe the date of shipment is marked 2015. Is there any concern with them being 7 years old even though they are new? I'm assuming not but want to gauge thoughts.

No, age doesn't really affect shocks. I wouldn't worry as long as they appear new. How did you come across them?

My shop has a stack of old Bilstein's that were never installed, no dates of course.

Thank you! I found them on Facebook. The boxes are beat up pretty badly but the shocks themselves look brand new, no signs of use or someone trying to cover up use. The bushings are still new in the bag as well.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
The only real downside is not having any warranty .

But for the price that most likely does not matter.

I would use them without concern if it were me.
