Changing out leafsprings. Old bushing on the bolt that attaches shackle to frame got damaged. I'm going to place an order for a new one from a bushing manufacturer. The material options are filament wound, POM composite, PTFE composite, PTFE polyamide. Which material is best for leafspring bushings?

Just get a factory rubber bushing.

If you want something that slides in easily, you can go poly.

Just remember, rubber uses no lube whereas poly does.

This is the OEM part number for those 9008038024. I ordered a set, then got ATS shackles which came with em too so now I have two sets of bushings. I can send you one set of you need them.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I got it squared away. Got a good deal on new shackles and bushings and bolts kit from a local parts store.

Ditto for me - just go factory if you still can!
