edit: Also really like it for the lack of can holder holes and it doesn’t have a large annoying logo carved into it. It has the mfg name routered into the left side and it’s small. I dislike logos.

 

does this work and where did you mount it? like in back of head unit under the dash or in the usb port in your dash and let it like hang? I have second gen, looks like you have 3rd gen but I think front usb is in a similar place.

Also is yours stock radio or aftermarket?

Stock radio. I just plugged it into the USB port although i may explore options to hide it later. It has a sticker to stick it up so it isn't just hanging there. The truck has to already have android auto capability for this to work. This module just allows it to connect wirelessly so you don't have to plug the phone into the dash. If your head unit doesn't already support android auto then this is not the tool for you.
