Here is a searchable Factory Service Manual for a 1999 Toyota Tacoma with the 3RZ. Almost all of the pages for the 5VZ are removed. I created this pdf by downloading all of the pages from the Toyota TIS system and compiling them into a single PDF. Basically, I just wanted a complete factory manual for MY truck, but I bet others can make use of this.

    Things eliminated from this manual:
    5VZ pages
installation pages (they said "installation is reverse of removal")
any page that mentioned obvious information

I tried to get the internal links to work within the PDF, but even adobe acrobat pro doesn't seem to be able to do it. Maybe someone has more knowledge of this?

marravilloso, very kind of you to put this together came in very handy today only wish I'd have found it before I went to take my engine out. The Haynes manual saying I could leave the transmission in the truck and just weak sparse procedure, Haynes has been good to me but yeah you might tip up the motor with an automatic and get the engine out but not manual. It just didn't seem like that was going to work only to be embarrassed when it of course didn't and then find the first step in the factory manual - remove transmission.

I lied before, and I'm definitely an idiot. Can someone tell me the page number for the intake manifold removal? I've been searching for like 30 minutes and can't find anything.

What's the 3RZ? I have a 99 Taco but I don't know what 3RZ is... :) I think having a complete manual could be helpful, thanks for doing this.
