Wondering if anyone has replaced their wheel bearings (front or back) as maintenance item (versus wearing out) since we are at this type of mileage?

I have front bearings and seals waiting to go on as part of my next project. I'm not seeing any problems yet but figure if I'm going to be working in the area I might as well make the most out of the labor.

It's worth a shot, Napa had them in stock and is a hell of a lot closer than the nearest dealership and I didn't want to wait or pay for shipping

Just rolled 201K on my 98 T100. Bought her in 2006 with 98,000. About to change the timing belt and all the goodies along with it. Picked up these runner wheels for $100! Going to pull the body lift off next (been saying that for a couple years now lol). BEST TRUCK EVERT100.jpg

I did when I replaced the front brakes, since you're basically all the way there on the 5 lugs in terms of disassembly.

I had zero maintenance history on my truck when I bought it, so it was better safe than sorry since I bought it at 309,XXX miles.
