kinda sorta. They’re surprisingly dense, that stamped steel receiver is heavy. My full length AP-5 weighs about the same, maybe even alittle more than my 16” 5.56 AR-15.

But I got it for the cool/want factor and to play with a roller lock gun not to save weight so I don’t care. It’s still my new favorite.

::Heavy breathing:: too bad I'm not allowed SBR/pistols (easily). That looks fun.. maybe in the future when CA gets her groove back.

Every time I look the flat faced trigger is still out of stock. The Receiver se single stage I tried is pretty nice but just used to the Larue 2 stage

I don't mind their curved it's not a super big curve and kinda like 2 stage in precision rigs. I just finished the trigger swap from mill spec to the Larue mbt2s a couple minutes ago too

Got a couple MTM AR15 mag cans. Not the most space efficient, but nice quality for cheap.

I finally got new hearing protection. Saw them on sale so figured it is time to replace my ~10 year old pair

Also picked up some holsters to try. Left handed so options are a bit more limited. A Safariland ALS (for Glock 17) and a WeThePeople holster for a Glock 19. Initial impressions...the Safariland is MUCH nicer. Feels a lot better. The WeThePeople one is different in that it doesnt really have "retention" just friction to hold it in. It also just feels a bit rougher. We will see how it ends up once ive used it though. Only went out to "the range" and ran 10 rounds from a draw out of it.

Been using the same hearing protection for several years now. Both my sons use 'em too, you'll like 'em! Gonna eventually upgrade to some gel pads and done. I've got a collection of holsters too. As for IWB & being a person of considerable girth, I found HawgHolsters and never looked back....

I've been using a set of the muffs for a long time. My last pair is a good 10 years old. And it shows lol.

I still like the muffs just cause I can shoot on my property so its not uncommon for me to just go out and shoot a magazine of whatever so the muffs are quick and simple for that

If I can make a suggestion, there’s a few companies that make gel cup replacements for Howard Leight ear pro for like $20. Way more comfortable and creates a better seal over your ears.

Ive never had problems with them being uncomfortable (wearing them for hours at a time) or having issues sealing. They just fit my noggin i guess

Not saying there's a "problem" with leaving them as-is, gel cups simply improve upon the design. They're a cheap, easy swap, but like I said it's just a suggestion. Ultimately your choice though, but I really like and prefer mine for what its worth. It's like wearing pillows on your ears.

I only meant for my head I don't see them as an improvement. I've definitely had other pairs of muffs that needed different pads!

Found these at Walmart I’ll see how they shoot compared to the power shocks just for fun I still prefer the power shocks
