    Hey Guys (and gals),

I was able to get 303 Car Care to sponsor a giveaway on Instagram. I feel like they are a lesser known, but premium, brand that started in the aerospace field. I tried a sample of "Protectant" that came in a magazine about 6 years ago and have been hooked ever since. @grant318is can attest to how good the stuff is, as I believe he has been using it longer than I have. Agreed. I used 303 products on my Softopper when I had one. Need to get that stuff back out for some of the black exterior trim pieces on the wife’s car.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Didn't we have someone in here that did windshield replacements? Wife's 4runner has about a 9 in crack in it.

Anyone have a good recommendation regarding who could install cam gears? I have been sitting on that as well as a URD cold air intake & MAF set up. Located around Duluth if that helps.

It's not hard - I did mine myself. A second set of hands is nice to loosen and tighten the bolt holding the gear to the cam.

Otherwise, it's just tedious, stripping the top of the motor down.

It was you. The 4runner I'm referring to was my wife's I was pull off the road after an accident. Wasn't her fault.. My truck was in the parking lot to the right. IMG_20220805_181111662.jpg

Yep and unfortunately I can’t devote time to that over the next several months so I’d rather find a reputable shop to perform the work.

Oof that's not good. Looks like the airbag deployed, is she okay?

She's fine. Yeah all the bags deployed. As much as I don't want it to be totaled bc it's so hard to replace right now, I'm also. It sure id trust the airbags to be 100% functional like factory if it's repaired. Isn't that why the usually total then after that?

That and price. Any time airbags deploy you have to replace the SRS unit. The bags, inflator, the unit, can easily add up to 10,000 or more quickly.
