Putting a steel bumper and it’s going to require some cutting. Who would have thought something so simple could be so difficult to decide on. I looked around can’t really find much what did you all use on yours. Link from trailtacoma brought me to these. I don’t want something super cheap looking or that’s going to fall off in a few months. I don’t care what they cost.

I use something similar to that on my bed rack. It has spring steel clips inside the rubber instead of glue. If those have the steel inside, they should be good. Look around Amazon, there are plenty of brands that are made the same. Let me see what I bought.

Cool thanks. Their was an old thread I didn’t want to revive because it was so dead but someone had mentioned the glue ones suck. Not sure some looked textured/ bulkier than others. I just want something sleek

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
So...that one is the good stuff? I have a Victory 4x4 roof rack coming and want to do the lower edges of the front and rear fairings where it hovers close to the painted surface. If this is the shit, I'll order it, too.

Just a heads up on the trim shared above. The interior of the U shape is a soft metal that will rust if exposed to the elements. Depending on where you live, it could rust quickly. I used that one and removed it as the ends rusted up real bad. I did like how strong and thick it was.
I have since moved to this one. Seams strong and think also without the metal.

The one I posted above has stainless clips that are embedded in the rubber. As long as you don't leave a piece exposed when you cut it, you should be fine.
