That looks clean, I need to redo my switch wiring. I added them over time so its a rats nest, theyre all labeled and color coded but the wiring is horrible.

Thanks, looking forward to that. The color is the only thing holding me back from making a purchase.

OK, coilovers are in, went pretty smooth!! I was able to get them done without so much as removing the wheels. Unbolted, worked the old struts out, slid the coilovers in, torqued, done. I was glad I did not have to remove the ball joint, control arms, etc... Sits a little higher in the front with the 700# spring, but after a quick test drive, they seem to be settling a little already. Might have to adjust the ride height down a bit, but pretty much a bolt in upgrade! Now to get the alignment done...

So no sway bar to deal with. Surprised that went so well. Hoping my swap to 3rd gen coils/struts goes that easy (I do have to drop sway bar).

Yeah, I deleted the sway bar long ago, will never go back. It brings the suspension to life off road, not much more body roll at all. I probably would not even have notice if I was unaware it was removed. I actually picked up some used 3rd gen struts as a quick fix until I found the coilovers I wanted. They bolted right in, no issues what so ever

I did the tweeter switch and the driver side has no sound but the passenger side sounds great.

    Why?
I’m pretty sure 6112 with spring is cheaper and a much thicker shock higher up in the Bilstein model line

Check the wiring. Maybe the blade is not completely set in the connector. It is def something in the wiring. I assume you did the blade swap in the factory connectors.

What is the difference between Bilstein 5100 and 6112?

Bottom Line. The 5100 series will get the job done, ride excellent, and still be good for offroad excursions on the weekend. The beefyness of the 6112 excels at all of the above and then some, there's significantly more damping capability offroad and offgrid.

Pads and rotors today. Still a little life in the pads after 65K. Rotors were warped.

So what does everyone do with their leftover rotors after swapping? I got two sets.

I bring mine to a metal recycler. You'll get about $.13/lb

Yes I did do it. Multiple times now. Other side took 10 minutes and worked flawlessly. Gotta keep at it ... Frustrating.

    Thanks.
I bought a couple different diameters of this stuff. Looks like factory wire protection.

The only issue is if you want to add wires at a later date. That's why pre-planning is important.

Did you shave off enough of the connector plug to push all the way into the other connector making solid pin contact ? Did your original tweeter work on the driver side ? If the answer is yes then I suggest swapping the blades back and connecting the stock tweeter. If it works then you had the blades swapped incorrectly for the Kicker. If you have no sound from the stock tweeter then there is a cut/stretched/broken wire in that door harness. Also does the driver side lower door speaker work regardless of terminal connections to the tweeter. I really suspect a blade improperly switched. Refer to the youtube subaru/kicker swap video from tacomaholic to verify blade swapping in the connector. Best of luck.

These are specifically designed for a 6in lift. Extended length adjustable coilovers to replace the strut spacers. There was not an option for 6122's.
