Camping “100% Pure homegrown Kona coffee” My wife’s family has a coffee farm in Kona, Hawaii.

I use three types pots for making coffee. The 9 cup percolator, the Coleman Quick pot propane 10 cup And drip coffee maker over a camp stove. Always looking to try different products.

The Coleman 10 cup is more like a 8 cup to me. Once you get it lighted, fast. Need to turn off when done, or it will melt some parts. Amazon $119.00 Prime. Not made to keep coffee warm. But the coffee goes fast.

Drip is easier to use, easier to keep warm, easy to clean, finding the right camp stove? Cannot be to too wide.?

Percolator sometime the grounds comes out., but the most simplest to use. Any stove ,easy to keep warm.

Fresh roasted coffee best the first 7-21 days, but roasted coffee can be kept for years, does not go bad fast. Airtight , and bags with the air vent release of Co2.

I've always used an Aeropress while camping, but it's a pain for any more than 1 person. I just ordered these sibgle serve coffee tea bags, and am interested on how the coffee is gonna be. I saw someone else on this forum mention it. It can't be more convenient for camping so I hope it is tolerable coffee.

“Nothing like a good cup of coffee”. Amazing the methods use! Some like it “Hot” & Some like “Cold”.
    Light, medium, or dark.

I prefer a “ hot “ cup of coffee in the mornings. When do you like yours?
    ———
Growing up watching my father drink his cup of coffee, any time of the day and night.
It can be a extremely hot sunny day, my Dad will grab a hot cup of coffee, while us kids try to find the coldest drink.

Aero press and the French press. I think of it as trying to squeeze every bit of flavor out of a bean/ ground of coffee.

Something to consider? The water ? How pure is the water you use? Most bottle waters are filter out. But some bottle waters taste awful? In Hawaii our Board of water use chlorine added to reduce bacteria.
The chlorine can effect the taste of your coffee.

Three ways mention on google to remove the chlorine from water.
1 - Fill a carafe with water and let it sit in open air or refrigerator, evaporate.
2 - Boil the water , let it cool
    3 - Filter with a jug

You can spend lots of money on all kinds of coffee making devices. Water quality is important too.

I’m normally French press because I tend to be making more than one cup, but aeropress as a smaller backup. The last couple times though, I took a craft instant coffee! It was pretty ok-not-great! Very easy though

Coffee press’s are just tools trying to squeeze out the flavors of a coffee grind or coffee bean.

All coffee do not taste the same. If you enjoy the coffee brand you are using, great, by using these coffee presses will enhance the flavor a bit more. This is good.

Every year there is a Kona Coffee Festival, this where you can test the “free sample’s” of pure Kona coffee from many different farms.
You will be surprised how all the Kona coffee simples will not all taste the same!
    ——
We have lots of banana trees, also different varieties, bananas do not all taste the same (flavors) texture is almost the same. The taste varies. Coffee too have many flavors.

Having a good tool to bring out more flavors from the coffee you are drinking is a good thing. Please try other brands? Maybe you find one even better?

Stainless steel French press has been our usual method for years but the new trailer has a spot designed for the compact nespresso right next to our bed so we've been messing with that. Hard to beat being able to brew without even getting out of the sleeping bag.

I have cut back on my coffee consumption. To almost zero, WHY?
Caffeine is a brain stimulant, the caffeine tricks the brain & blocks the receptors a chemical called ADENOSINE, which releases the excitatory chemicals.
Caffeine gives a surge of energy, some even say improves mental performance.

One of the largest study of high consumption of coffee, show a increase of DEMENTIA. Yes the caffeine does make you feel more alert. What can be the long term effects to our brains from drinking too much coffee or caffeine into our bodies (brain)?

Please watch the video on TedxTalks Orange Coast Daniel Amen 14 minutes long. He has written many books on the brain , many tons of videos.
He believe we can prevent Dementia, Alzheimer,ADAH all can be reduce , prevented, solved.

Watch for yourself! Is what you are eating ,drinking good for your brain? Your children brain? Dr Daniel Amen, research his Clinics , studies, and proven answers.

Stainless steel French press seems to be the easiest entry. Just need grounds and and some hot water.

My wife and I are the type that can’t start a day without coffee. One of the best feelings is that hot coffee on a cool morning in the outdoors.

We keep it simple and grind enough coffee at home then use a simple Stanley french press and boil using a jetboil.

Stanley Adventure All-in-One, Boil + Brewer French Press Coffee Maker - 32oz BPA Free Campfire Coffee Pot Heats up Tea or Soup - Great for Camping and Travel – Dishwasher Safe, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L6MLC6J

This is great and can be used to boil water as well on its own so a few birds one stone if necessary.

High consumption is usually up to four cups of coffee per day. And any caffeine drinks like sodas.

Please watch the Video -TedxTalks ( Orange Coast Daniel Amen. ). He also work with the NFL , brain injuries and help many recover.
This video may change your life! It is changing my eating habits.
