Trying to create a user defined PID in the OBD Fusion app. Does anyone have the mode and PID for 2004 2.7 AT temps?

I thought mode and Pid would be the last 4 or your TXD but no joy.06BE3F9F-37EA-4BF4-B034-E4ED0E1AB4D0.jpg

Problem solved. Learned more about OBD than I ever wanted to know
I was so close, just had the header wrong.

Bought the OBD Link MX+ for my 99’ Tacoma Prerunner. Super easy to install and it allows you to select enhanced OEM add-on’s. I love the Bluetooth connection to my phone and the custom gages I can create. I never realized how hot the transmission fluid got on interstate highway grades. I hit 251 degrees in OD on the first climb. I wasn’t towing and the truck was empty. I’ve been making that drive for a decade or more!!! The next grade I disengage the OD and the temperature dropped 30+ degrees. I have a Hayden 699 cooler that I’m going to be adding in the coming weeks. I was traveling north on I17 between Phoenix & Flagstaff. I hit 251 degrees going up the Black Canyon City climb to Sunset Point. Going south out of the Verde Valley there’s a big climb up to Cherry Rd. With the OD disengage the tranny temp only touched 220 degrees. Hope you find the correct codes, you’re gonna love it!

I’m using the Veepeak BLE and OBD fusion app and yeah, his is way cool. Lucky for me most of Florida is pretty flat but I’m still going to do the Hayden 676. @gearcruncher has posted volumes of info on our ATs over the years and warns about towing in OD. Guess we see why now with 30 degree difference in temperature.

None of my Toyotas like that route. My now dearly departed Honda Odyssey would sail all the way to Flagstaff like it's nothing. Loved that vehicle till the timing belt snapped and trashed the engine.

Test drive, 92 degrees and humid AF. 10 minutes at 70-75 MPH on the expressway followed by 10 minutes of stop and go traffic and finally back home
