just installed these today in my Tacoma. Took Literally 10 minutes with a 15mm socket , 14mm socket, a torque wrench and some blue Loctite.

I'm 6'3 and travel a lot for work. My 2017 Tacoma seats are comfortable but still lacking for adjustment options. I've always liked to be able to tile the seat back a bit so my legs are supported for long drives. I finally broke down and bought these Seat jacks from Desert Does It.

I cannot explain how much more comfortable the truck just became after almost 5 years of owning it.

Put these on a while ago from Desert Does It
HUGE change in comfort on the longer drives.
    I recommend also.

Alright you sold me. I'm 6'3" as well and keep hearing about these. Just pulled the trigger.

    Many!
It's difficult to explain how much of a difference they make in the comfort level of the seat.

    Love 'em!

True. I'd say, imagine the seat actually closing the gap to the backs of your thighs.
Your butt stays planted, but the seat is rotated up and back, at an angle, to provide seating for the upper leg.
This was my best attempt. Lol. Just get them. :)

These have always seemed gimicky to me. I just ordered a set though, through Amazon so I can return if need be. Would make it a bit easier to vacuum under the seat though..

Helped me fit my amp under my driver seat. Lol. But not gimmicky at all. It will noticeably change the comfort position of the seat for the better

I've done many 12+ hour drives in this truck and have never felt the need to raise the front of my seat, and I'm 6'2". I've always found the seats to be comfortable, maybe a little lacking in the lower back area.

    Agree, worth every penny.

Before the jackers (front only) I could drive about an hour before finding myself constantly shifting around.

It seemed that my body was being supported by only the bones in my butt and my heels.

I have driven comfortably almost 700 miles in one day, huge improvement.

I have a set of 1" rear spacers with bolts. $30 shipped. Got them for both seats but my wife is short and didn't want them installed.

Does anyone worry about them holding up in a crash? Just curious, to me this seems dangerous, don't mean to rain on this parade :rain:

Half of the trucks on this forum would kill a pedestrian or the owner at a rate far above NHTSA's acceptable standards due to modifications that obliterate crumple zones and add steel at the pedestrian contact points, what's one more? ;)

Found them from Aliexpress for a fraction of the price if you don’t mind the shipping time. They look identical and are 1.25” lift

    https://m.aliexpress.com/item/3256802551142460.html?gatewayAdapt=4itemAdapt

EDIT: It’s worth noting that the cheaper version on Aliexpress is made of 7075 aluminum whereas the Desert Does It version is made of 6061 aluminum. 7075 is supposed to be stronger than 6061 however one is made in China and the latter made in US. Not sure how that would relate to a crash but it’s good to know.
