RE: MESO puddle pods. How did you feed the wire through the door to the interior? Did you use a specific tool? I've been stuck on the installation since I can't feed the wires through. Thanks!

Same here...no camping duties at the moment...but I have been known to haul top soil from Lowe's.

I got the bed mat & bed lights as well as wheel locks for Christmas 2021.

Good use of the truck, but dude, the top soil is arranged in the bed of your truck better than it is where you picked it up... "That's not right!"

Check out this video, it’s a perfect step-by-step. A little trick I used was adding a touch of dish soap after I thoroughly electrical tape over The snake/wire. It was incredibly difficult for me to push through the door, I kept getting snagged. Adding a touch of soap helps everything slide through easily.

Here are a few things I wish I knew going into it:

    1. Lower both front windows
    2. When it’s time to run the wires through the the door rubber gussets, use plenty of electrical tape and I even put a tiny touch of dish soap on the outside to lubricate things. Makes a massive difference for the hardest step in my opinion.
    3. When you get to the driver side A pillar/airbag area, you might not have 2 connectors/harnesses. You might only have 1. It’s fine.
    4. The wiring harness that goes by the A pillar is a little tough to fit in. You’ll need to be patient getting it right.
    5. Use all the tools he recommends, he doesn’t say them all at the beginning, but watch the video through once before attempting this. It’s worth while
    6. Give yourself plenty of time. It’s not all that hard, just very tedious. It took me 5 hours.
    7. There’s an extension harness that connects directly to the led light, you will have an extra connector. That’s purely for if you have the turn signals also. Otherwise it will be left open and that’s fine.

I would like to know how this is done as well. I am planning to do a faded light bar for the front footwell areas, but on the mirrors, I'd like to mount one of these "bolt LEDs". The bolt LED comes from a company offering a cheaper fading system, but I'd still need LED strips.

I'd also like to know, just how might I mount this on the side-view mirror assemblies. Do they come apart AND is there room underneath the mirror gymball and mirror surface?

I figure with one of these 12VDC bolt LEDs, I wouldn't end up shining most of it's light on the door, but rather, most of it on the ground.

I'm, a Logistics Guy...and work at a Hospital doing Material Management for Cath Lab.

I'm constantly arranging products to fit in cabinets/cubbies and closets...so I'm a little OCD about organizing things...lol!

Got my AUXBEAM switch box mounted last night. We shall see how long Alien Tape lasts. Hopefully it’ll last forever. Time will tell.

I’m still a newbie but want to know if anyone can share a pic of their black Tacoma with the black overlay emblems? I’ve been going back and forth and about to place an order on Amazon and was thinking about getting some. Actually before and after pics would be great. Thanks in advance

It's not that bad. I've done it on both my trucks for puddle lights. I didn't use any special tools, just a small extended ratchet extension and tapped the wires to it and pushed through the boot with some dish soap. But anything long, firm and small enough will work. teehee also some good info in the above posted video and unplugging the internal connectors adjacent to the boot

One before and a few options. Currently have the red devil horns on the Tacoma and black devil horns on the tundra.

    Oh look, another mod....
I make it a point to get rid of all the evidence left in the bed of my truck. Thus, my truck bed is clean! You can't be a good serial killer if you leave evidence laying around.
