In case anyone was wondering, the jack that comes with our trucks from the factory has a minimum height of 7 3/4" and a max height of 17 1/2". I couldn't find this info anywhere so I hope it helps someone. I measured it because im looking for a bottle jack that will fit in the same spot that has the same or better max height.

im worried the 6 ton might not fit in the stock jack location, and if you have a completely flat tire you might not be able to get it under the axle...

The stock bottle jack got my outta more trouble than I can recall. I also prefer it over a hydraulic jack in certain ways.. mainly that lowering is more exact- No valve to release, just predictable lowering. I used the stock jack to level a 15m long table one time.. way better than a hydraulic jack for that.

Otherwise, on the trail Hi-lift, and rolling jack in the garage...

gonna try the 6ton since its $20, I trust Torin.

I'll probably just use it to get my truck on jack stands so I can spray some woolwax.. for now until I get more skids

I've used my stock jack numerous times, and it works just fine. Throw in a few lumber scraps to get the extra height you need, and call it good.

I just used the stock jack yesterday and it sucks, it's a pain in the ass to raise it up and lower it. sure it works and it will get the job done. I just would like have one that works better.

A lifting device, for something as heavy as a vehicle, is not something I'd trust a cheap jack that costs as much as a case of Red Bull.

I mean, they have a guy holding it that's badly photoshopped as part of their ad not to mention this guy with an accordian copy/pasted on his chest -

Yeah but Torin's not some small random company but go with that argument if you want. They've been making this stuff and selling it pretty much everywhere for a long time
