    Nice.
All my other switch blanks are now populated for lighting that I'll add later, would've been nice if there was a panel there from the factory.

    Question:

Can you interrupt the auto up/down (i.e. to vent your windows)?

They still act like normal window switches. They just have auto up and down if you click the switch all the way.

Has anyone tried to get this to work on a years before 2012? I have a 2011 I would love to put this on. I know the panel is different but I wonder if the switches can be changed out?

I am guessing they are probably working on a 05-11 panel. Unless someone on here has done it and confirms what they did to make it work.

I wonder if the plugs are the same or if they are different, too.

Not what I did today but the last couple weeks…

I work for the state environment department and spent the last three weeks doing wetland surveys in northern New Mexico. Got to take my personal vehicle since we were camping 4-5 nights a week. It rained 13 of the 16 days we were out. CVT Mt hood roof top tent did great. The OVS 270 awning was key. Everyone hung out under it most nights. Got to see some beautiful places and even some local wildlife.

Funny thing is we drive through this traffic jam of ~200 bison and I now realize there was a herd of elk on the hill above.

I was cleaning out a garage cabinet today and ran across a Truck Trader from June 2004. People are always talking about truck values and market prices. Thought I would post this bit of nostalgia. How much would it cost today for a 2 year old Tacoma access cab V6 with 33k miles?

Few fun things today. I got my truck washed, addressed the low tire pressure light (slow leak) and I will need to get the truck in to get the tire fixed. Lastly when I was washing the truck I noticed the passenger side bed fender was wobbly and the little support for it broke most likely from the rust. Can anyone tell me the name of the part so I could order a new one.

Got my plate bumper installed and set of led license plate bolt lights for the flip mount. However now the stereo won’t turn on. All the fuses are good. Could the leds be causing interference?

Sounds like a panel brace. #4 in the image below.

Did a brake change and plug change this weekend. Brake change went well beside losing a cotter pin for the caliper slide pin. Ended up putting a regular old cotter pin in.

Plug change went smooth except auto zone didn’t have the denso plugs so I settled for NGK 1483 platinum. Electrodes were super small compared to the old ones I pulled. I guess that’s the new era of spark plugs.

Is it normal to have some oil around the ignition coil?

I do have a leaky valve cover gasket that I need to change. Just haven’t had the time.

Also, is this orange crud in the ceramic indicative of a bad coil?

My original coil looked like that also the first time I changed the spark plugs. Not sure why. But I also changed the valve cover to make sure it didn’t happen. 30k miles later and it’s dry.

I read somewhere in this thread that apparently they're trying to adapt this to the earlier years. Whether or not that's true I have no idea, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

Just did the basic. Oil change, grease the uca and both driveshafts. Followed by a car wash. Inside and out.
