Does anyone near the Melbourne area know of anyone hiring? Let me know if you, or someone you know is looking for reliable help. I have a friend looking for work, and she's not having much luck.

She has 18 years of retail experience. Customer service and such.

Universal of Orlando is always hiring, I know some people who commute all the way from Melbourne.

Do you know anyone I could have her contact? Edit: that's a bit too far for her.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but in this job market how can anyone have a problem finding a job? Every place I go to whether it's Home Depot or a local restaurant they all have "we are hiring" signs. I've been a retired feeder driver since December from UPS and while I don't really care to go back to work at any capacity I have people begging me to drive trucks for them.

Oh sure everybody is hiring, the problem is nobody is paying, hard to take a job when it costs you money to be there.

This is true. The Real estate market is killing people here. The average Joe can't afford to live in Palm Beach County. They(news) were saying that it's going to price teachers and people in the service industry right out.

I am a licensed realtor and I there is no stopping this price hike chain. I see it insurance as well. People’s wages are not keeping up with inflation or insane home and insurance prices.

I switched jobs three times last year. I probably could have had five other jobs if I wanted them. Those were all entry level positions, all above minimum wage. Every sector of employment is hiring retail, automotive, logistics, government. The list goes on. The money you are paid is only going to be worth what it's worth, but there are lots of employment opportunities out there.

Not sure if she is still looking but have her apply at Harris Industries or Bansbach Easy Lift.
