I agree it is my word against theirs. She was perfectly fine right up to when we picked her up. When we did her eyes were glassy and bloodshot and she slept hard the rest of the day. This gal did sideways (almost backflips) to catch a ball and was never injured prior.

It is what it is. I am moving forward and remaining hopeful.

I had one do that. She had lymphoma and it was just dumb luck that the time she spent standing on the grooming table was the straw that broke the camel's back and caused the tumor to put pressure on her spine. Up until that point, we never even knew she had a tumor. My vet said it was just a coincidence it happened like that. I've used that groomer for years, and I trust her. Sometimes things just happen. I hope the OP gets his dog taken care of.

    How is your pup doing?

It's hard to find a good place for grooming. I used to do it myself, until my trainer bought a local grooming business. He's a fellow Vet and him and his family are great.

My dog is now on a regiment of medications to keep her CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) pressure down. One of the meds is prednisone so she gained 25lbs.

She will never be a search and rescue pup. I am just happy she is healthy enough to play around the house. She does not want to do the hikes I took her on up till the injury
    (3-5miles)
    thank you for asking

She is doing much better thank you! She is not the search and rescue dog she was supposed to be - but she is definitely healthy enough right now to be my service dog. Everything is being treated with medication. She still has stumbles or even wipes out, but nothing like before.
