    Hey I got a 2015 DCSB. I’m going to be installing BP51’s all around. I will be purchasing a cap for the back (around 200lbs), other that only occasionally loaded bed of gear, like for trips.

    I’m looking for suggestions for a leaf pack 2-3 inch of lift. So far I’ve been told the ARB MD and HD ain’t the greatest.

    Any recommendations? Thanks guys

    Deavers, either stage 1 or 2. I love the ride of the stage 1’s on my 3rd Gen.

    This thread has been posted 50000x times.. That said, Deaver u402 or Icon RXT if you're going to be adding weight. Having had both brands, Deavers ride nicer.

    Darnit, lol. I was shopping these two and wasn't sure which to pick so just jumped on the first, decent deal that popped up - which was the RXT. I'm sure they'll be fine and they seem to pop up used a lot more than the Deavers.

    Icon RXT optiion 2 with your weight will put you just over 2" but being that they allow for additional droop you'll want extended travel shocks.

    Haha they are fine, just extra stiff if you have no weight (little bit of false advertising on Icons part IMO). I would recommend swapping out the shackles at least with a greaseable version when you do the install. They are noticeably smoother thru the leaf's operation than the factory shackles that bind. I run the BAMF's but there are a few options.

    Ha, stiff is exactly what I didn't want - overall, I'd prefer as cush of a ride as I can get. But beggars can't be choosers.

    Thanks for the tip on the shackles. I'd been thinking about whether I wanted to address the shackles or not. From your experience it sounds like it's worth upgrading the shackles without doing all out with a hanger upgrade?

    I’ve had OME springs in my truck in the past and not a fan, big fan of the deavers I have now. I went with stage II, wish I would have gone with stage I but they are awesome still.

    How much rear load do you have? That you wish you went with 1s?

    Yeah weighted the RXT's ride pretty nice (unweighted they are excessively harsh), the shackles are like upgrading control arms to beefier ones - simply swapping them out isn't as drastic as doing full hangers, but they are worth upgrading while the leaves are out of the truck since you have to remove the leaf packs to change them. I put a little blurb about them in my build thread here if interested.

    I guess I'll just have to see how it goes for me. I'm at 24" (+/-0.25") from axle center to fender currently and don't want to go any lower but wouldn't mind if it's a tad higher. So far seems like Stage 2 is the best option for me. I only keep around 50-100lbs in the bed normally (but truck also has sliders and skids) so I expect it'll be pretty harsh like that based on your feedback. But it doesn't get much use like that since it's not a daily driver. Most of the miles it sees are for camping/exploring trips where it gets more loaded down. I'd think at least a few hundred extra pounds with all that gear.

    Thanks for the shackle/hanger info as well. I'm definitely thinking these are worth it. I'd just like to see if I can find a better deal. The BAMF setup seems fairly reasonably priced, not sure I could justify the cost of the Archive setup. BAMF and Rago are more moderately priced and I feel like there was one other brand available now but I can't remember.

    I have a leer topper and decked drawers all the time(probably 225lbs combined) then I’ll often add ice chest, gear, etc. Between my archive hangers and the deavers my rear is a little too high, and I didn’t really need all the weight support of the stage II.

    @tymebandit951

    You say a little higher than you'd like? What are you shooting for for height? Rake , no rake? Any pics of your rig?

    Truth be told I don’t have a specific height in mind, just by look. I’d say no rake is preferred, and my front isn’t lifted lots so the rear sticks up too high for my preference. SUA will fix that for me no problem. You can see my build here…

    No problem. I do think it’s worth noting that it’s my preference of look and that I’d still stick with the weight recommendations of deaver obviously. But unless you’re going to be loaded to the gills with a full broverland setup all the time you’re probably good with stage I.
