Cleaned and dressed engine bay, washed, waxed and detailed exterior plastic with Cerakote. Engine oil and manual trans oil changed. Looks great and drives perfect. When it’s clean like this and running great it reduces my urge to get a new one.

We are looking at the tachometer and speedometer of a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. Obviously we see that the truck is turned on and sitting at an idle. Lol jk.

My truck just hit 150k miles lol.

Yesterday I did a preliminary transmission flush to my 2006 Tacoma. Used a large graduated pitcher to measure amount taken out each time.

Use a drill driven pump to push new WS transmission fluid into the transmission. I was going to buy a power filler (compressed air and bottle) but decided against it because of the cost and limited use.

I did not use the tranny pump to pump out old fluid. Simply used gravity drain to refresh the fluid.

Removed the 113-R add-a-leaf from my Dobinsons 112-R leaf pack. It was in for a year and the truck sat a bit ass high even when fully loaded which was made worse when I took stuff out of the back. I think it looks better and lost about 1" in height.
    Before w/113-R (8 leafs total)
    IMG_3623.jpg
After with just 112-R (7 leafs total)

Flares got torn off after originally trimming them along with the fenders. Painted the fenders for the meantime just to see what it looked like. They’re painted right where the flares would mount.

I may order some bolt on flares.

I’d really like to go fiberglass but can’t justify the cost.

If you had 500 bucks for your truck, would you
1: OTT Hp tune it? (Extra HP, Torque, MPG)
2: Decent detail with paint correction
3: Black interior pieces (carpet, center console)
4: New yellow Ditch lights (SS3 Maxes) replacing Rigid D-SS pros (I need more yellow light for winter)
5: What I should probably do but it's lame, new body mount/radiator/whatever bushings + coolant flush/power steering fluid "flush"

Started with removal of the tighter left door panel this afternoon, and replaced the wrapped steel whip radio antenna with this copper coil wound stubby from Manitowoc, Wisconsin. 20220919_151643[1].jpg
