Yup looks like you can add a Datadim module to control the light output. Good to know...pricey stuff but nice features

    Buy once, cry once.

You've seen my lighting in your mirrors. How conspicuous am I? I've high-beamed a few brain dead idiots that have pulled out in front of me a few times. When my lights go full power they usually wave an apology or pull over and let me go around.

Or just full power all the time. Good quality Led lights are usually good for 50k hours

@spencermarkd I think this is the first Navi I've seen in the wild... green with matching crashbars

Ohhh those are hard to come by. They don't offer them in the US yet so you have to find someone to import them from mexico for you. If I don't sell my Navi my plan is to try and make some crash bars and a skid plate this winter.

The early G650 was made in Loncin, F700 and 800 were made in austria by rotax proper, and then f750 and 850 went back to loncin, IIRC. I'm 99% sure my f800gs is an austrian engine at least and I remember a lot of hubbub on ADVRider when the 750/850 came out about being made in china.

But like you said, it's all about the quality control. KYB suspension and Nissin brakes are known decent quality names, so it would make sense if the engine was held to that standard too. You could look at things like CSC here in the states, too, I haven't heard much of anything negative on their reliability.

I definitely wouldn't want to be some of the first to try it out, but if it does well......I moight look for a used one down the road :D

I hope they do well to be honest, competition is needed to keep things in check. The $6100 price tag looks good so far.
Can't see my engine very well either

yup! she rode nicely on the highway at the slower end of 60 and did great on the back roads so lets hope the ride home is just as good! (knocks on wood!)
