I've done some research and it appears that only some 15" wheels fit on the 01-04 Tacomas. can anybody running a set of 15" wheels on their 01-04 tacoma share the make and model of their wheels? thanks!

Older Toyota alum wheels will fit, most steelies will too. Aftermarket aluminum is where you will have problems. If you have tundra brakes forget about it

You can grind the calipers and make them fit, they just barely rub. But remember there’s not going to be much clearance if you are in mud or snow, plus 15 inch tires are getting less common

I'm actually running aftermarket 15" aluminum rims because I prefer more rubber. The issue is that they don't make them anymore so I don't know how relevant it is to you. They are KMC 301 Turbines in 15X8 -19 offset.

Discount Tires have 15" wheels that are applicable to you. You might need hubcentric rings depending on the wheel you get. I'm running 31" KO2 but they also make it in 33" for a 15" rim in both 10.5" and 12.5" width.
