Hiking the Napali Coast was a bucket list item ever since watching Jurassic Park. I was alone and under a terrible time crunch so I only made it 2 miles in but it was amazing. I'd love to go back, preferably with someone this time.

Chased a road runner into a tree today. It eventually out-ran me but I didn't go over
the edge and fall 1000 feet into a poof of dust. I like to follow them around as they are
quite the hunters and will flip rattlesnakes ... then you can swoop down and get some
    images of a rattler.

I'm using a Sony A7ii and have never looked back. I prefer astrophotography, so the ISO options on the mirrorless are a key need of mine, but I can't say enough nice things about it. Lens availability was tough for a bit, but that's fine now as the platform has had years to mature.

Shooting with a Canon 7d Mark 2. The favorite lens in my arsenal, by far, is the 135mm f2 prime lens.

Nice, really like the first one. Some shadows, resolution and color are very good. For a lens of the type you used very nice. What aperture did you use.

Glad you like - I rented both the Sigma and the Tamron 100-400 and found the Sigma just over the edge for a better photo for this D7200.

Apologies for the mass amount of photos here. I tried sticking to just three pictures per park. No fancy camera, just my iPhone XS. I've always enjoyed photography though and I'm wanting to get a good camera to start off, if anyone has any suggestions.

These are from our trip to Utah last week, visiting the "Mighty Five" National Parks. (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands)

Fabulous images - great area out there - nice for an IPhone....
I re-started photography after 25 years with the Nikon D3500. Excellent camera great price.
Moved up to the Nikon D7200 and that was a huge improvement.
The 'Z' - series ( mirrorless ) are kinda cool but you gotta get into the Z9 for anything serious ( $5,500 for the body! )....
The lessor 'Z' models are 'OK' but for the lessor model prices I'd stick with the older good-used models like the Nikon D7200.
Besides that the lens choices for the older models is huge, whereas the 'Z' cameras have few lens choices for big-big bucks.

You can't go wrong with Nikon -

You can rent them at lensrentals.com and see what suits you....

I have the D7200 and Sigma 100-400 that I rented ( and ended up buying ) from them.
The 18-55mm / 55-200mm kit lens from the D3500 works fine on my new D7200.
Also have the Nikon 35mm f1.8 and the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 so I have a decent setup for any ocassion.

Here's a recent image with the 100-400mm lens...

Thanks for the info! Great shot too. I love macro photography because it brings into perspective a whole other world that's out there.

    I have a Gashole
I believe Tempe Camera also rents equipment.
I have the Nikon D300 and then purchased a Nikkor 18-200 lens when I went to Hong Kong as they were on indefinite back order in the US at the time.
I follow that up with a Tamron 18-300 to go along with my old Nikon D70 as a second camera since my ex and I were traveling around the globe a lot. The Tamron had its issues and needed to be sent back to be repaired.
A few years ago I decided to go back to the Galapagos with some friends and my GF. I purchased a Nikon D3400 and mated it with the Nikkor 18-300 lens that came out. I like having a do it all lens for travel. Both the 18-200 and 18-300 are excellent travel lens'.
