    The research institute where I spent the first ten years of my career (many decades ago) does lots of government contracting, including a business that up-armors commercial vehicles for DoD and DoS. Mainly Hiluxes and Land Cruisers. Here's their video showing their capabilities and some images inside their facility on the west side of Columbus OH.
