When you live in the PNW it doesn't matter as it's usually just raining

I use an electric car drier that is filtered. Then a drying towel to get the left over. It saves the paint from swirl marks but mine is Graphene treated which is amazing!

The Woolly Mammoth drying towel by Chemical Guys. Specially made for drying vehicles. Can dry my Tacoma in just a few minutes and helps prevent scratching.

FYI as a professional detailer I would be cautious with any leaf blowers. These are not filtered and you could be blowing dust, dirt, pollen or other contaminants back onto your vehicle. Also, even if you have ceramic or any of the other fancy things out there, if the vehicle isn't dried properly, it could leave water marks.

Autozone has real ones. Just not quite as thick as they use to be.

I use a silicone squeegee to get 95% of the water off. Mine looks similar to this.

These threads are some of my favorite. Detailers have always been passionate about their thing, and I can respect that.

I stay out of car washes. Hand wash with a microfiber mitt and dish soap, always top down. Dry with a Jelly Blade and an old bath towel. I always intend to polish/wax but never do.

    Oh, the horror.

    Super White is your friend.

Wash with a wash and wax soap. Then down the road at 60-70mph. Then I finish with a drying towel from Walmart. I use the absorber.

Try whatever tickles your fancy at https://theragcompany.com/

    Great stuff.

Personally I rinse with dehumidifier water and air dry with a Ryobi shop blower (little leaf blower). Between those two I usually don't have any issues, but then again mine is super white.

If I needed more I would use a borderless drying towel from the rag company and then a spray lsp to touch up and recoat with a protectany.

squeegee, for me initially, and then a leaf blower. follow that by Griot's PFM towel and you're all set. been doing this for the past 35 yrs on all my cars.

I use either The Rag Company Eagle Edgeless or Gyeon Silk Dryer microfibers along with Carpro EC2O and a Metrovac Masterblaster car dryer.

Backpack leaf blower removes 80-90% of the water, then it’s light quick gentle wipes with a micro fiber, or more preferably a dense 100% cotton towel, including all seams and threads (no polyester). Any remaining water spots get a light mist of detailing spray and a wipe.. water spots on aluminum get microfiber lightly dampened with with rubbing alcohol… takes about 10-15 minutes on my crew cab after putting down the hose

I only use fabric from the Vicuña, which can only be shorn every three years and has to be caught from the wild, high up in the mountains at dangerous altitudes. Nothing but the best for the taco.
