One of the hardest things about moving away from Bellingham was I can't find Kulshan beer anywhere. The Kulshan red is my personal favorite.

I would love to find some original Michelob... but they jumped on the wagon and went full send.

I drink independent craft beers cause, in general, I dislike corporate beer making machines. I also avoid the breweries that sell out to corporate. My general support is for the independent breweries that can be categorized as small business. Sometimes you don't have a choice but to go corporate, but I try my darnest to avoid those situations.

Oh, my favorites are sours and hazy IPA’s.

    It's tasty as well.

My BIL was looking for Kulshan anything in the Seattle area. Nope. I even thought they actually had an outlet down there.

Aslan makes it out of Whatcom county and they are good.

I know I ragged on IPA's but yes some of the juicy, hazy IPA's are damned GOOD.

I think they quit importing it. Here I think it used to show up about November and was all gone by Christmas. I liked it.

    I'm north of 65 LOL

In the Dallas area you could find it pretty regularly until maybe mid to late 90's. It became hit or miss, then it was just gone.

Looking on the web makes it seem like some places may still sell it. Maybe SoCal??

I grew up in a German community - lots of older immigrants. Whenever this comes up, people talk about the vast quantities of beer consumed. But this is wrong. A LOT of older Germans I know drink Whiskey- I don't recall ever seeing Opa (Granddad) drink beer.
Why? Is Bud that bad? Well, YES. But more to the point: Germans understand efficiency.
