So today I received my LBJ for my 2003 Tacoma Prerunner 2WD from my local Toyota dealership.

Upon inspecting the Lower Ball Joints I noticed that the bolts were not included. So I went online to purchase some. It seems like there is different part numbers and styles of bolts.

Each time I choose set of bolts and put in my vin# it comes back saying that the bolts are not compatible. That the bolts I select are only compatible with 2001 and below Tacomas.

Can anyone here give me the right part number for my model and year Tacoma. Or can I use those bolts even if they say they are not compatible with my Tacoma.

Here you go. IIRC Toyota have ball joint protector/dust cover between 00-04.

    Thank you for this info.

Yes some came LBJ came with the of having dust covers. Some didn't mines do not have the dust cover. If I can remember correctly. The dust cover ones have different bolt with less torque compared to the lbj with no covers.

Might want to review the info in this thread before just ordering 'bolts'.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...s-wanted-about-lower-ball-joint-bolts.772506/

If you have the factory lower ball joint dust protectors, then order the correct bolt for use with them.
90119-10933 They are torqued to 37 ft lbs ONLY. That bolt specifically. 37 ft lbs ONLY.

EDIT: just saw your 2nd post.
Order the other bolts since no dust protector. You'll see them discussed in the above thread. FYI: when ordering LBJs, they won't come with a dust protector. If your truck had them from the factory, they are meant to be reused (with the correct bolt of course lol). My 2002 had them from the factory, I've chosen to run with them when installing new LBJs and bolts.
