I'm a tall guy and for some reason have never felt the seats are uncomfortable but heard a lot of people complain about them

Do these do anything that you can't accomplish with the 10-way power seat? How's lifting the front from bottom different than just adjusting the front of the seat up / back of it down?

I will find out soon and let you know. My power seat does not work for me. 6' 185 have back of knee pain and discomfort from stock seats.
It's all about angles and leg/torso geometry.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
If you don't have 10 way power seats, you can't lift the front of the seat any other way.

Do the seat jackers make it a tighter fit squeezing your legs between the bottom of the steering wheel and the front end of the seat?

Definitely. They make that gap smaller by a noticeable margin (one and a quarter inch)

Best mod for the money. I didn’t realize how much I needed seat jackers until I installed. I drove the truck from New Mexico to South Carolina and back with them and I couldn’t imagine doing it without.

Nah not a stupid question at all! I had the same query and was very very dubious that they they could make the seat so comfortable that I could get past changing the way I enter exit the truck. After getting a used set for a decent deal on b/s/t I am really impressed.
Everyone in this thread is saying it doesn’t reduce your headspace but that definitely isn’t my opinion or experience.
Despite that and the reduced clearance between the wheel/seat, I don’t foresee removing them ever.

curious on how these feel with the power seats. i know they have to be a night and day difference for manual seat users, but maybe minimal usage for power seat equipped vehicles?

I think the realized benefit of the seat jackers depends A LOT on how you have your seat set up in the first place. In my case, I constantly have the kids in the backseat and have gotten used to having my seat more forward than most. This leads to a fair amount of knee bend, lifting the back of my thighs off of the seat (even with the power seat tipped as high as possible). The jackers give the front end of the seat just enough of an extra boost to close the space and keep me more comfortable than without. I'm 5'11" and have really enjoyed the jackers for the last few months.

Curious why you came out to SC? I just moved out here and haven't found much off grid camping, did you come out here for camping?

My gf was a bridesmaid in a wedding at Table Rock State Park. Rather than buying the $1500 each plane tickets we decided to make a trip out of it and stop in Mississippi to visit my family.

They gave me a full refund on mine. They just weren’t a good fit for me. I have to say I’m impressed with the customer service at Desert Does It.
