    Specs they provide are...

-- Will work in a sealed box with .65 Cu Ft of air space

    – Mounting diameter of 9.1″ (custom sizes available)

    – Top mount depth of 5.65″ or less, Please note that magnet width plays a role in the maximum top mounting depth. Due to the ANGLE of the box, WIDER subwoofer magnets will affect the top mount depth.

I have a Rockford Fosgate P300 8 inch.Punch which is perfect for me. It has a nice deep base, clear and a good punch. Fits like it was made for the Tacoma. Fits right behind the back pass. side seat. It looks OEM and you cannot see any wires.

I added the gray foam but it looks darker in person. Looks more factory without the padding, I did just to see what it looks like and have since removed it. I added the 2/1 Rockford dash tweeter/speaker instead of the Kickers. Its super clean sounding and has all the bass and clear punch I require.

definitely, I was mostly trying to see what options I have. The Stealth box would be the best bet, but I am still on the fence about paying that much. Another thing is that I am not educated in which speakers are beginner versus intermediate versus Pro. I assume the grade of speaker sold with the stealth box is better than their powered versions? or is the huge cost just because the box is conformed?

I got my harness yesterday for the Joying 11.6

I should probably document and make a video through my installs of it, then later do another for the other items.

Maybe that will help other people decide which can of worms to open for themselves.

Giving a review of the *sound* will be tough. I will be able to say what I like and don't like, but I will not be able to compare it to anything.

Mine was only $350 installed with a 3year warranty.

Do you think the Rockford 10” P300 would fit if I removed the plastic tray?

The one you have is the 12in JL, right? I have the dogs so I need the seat panel for support.

Will the seat still latch up-right without removing the seat panel?

I do get company that rides in my truck from time to time.

Any other time, the seats are folded down with a custom dog seat cover and a handmade wood/foam dog bed on them.

I have a Fosgate P300-10T and you have to mount it on the rear passenger side with the plastic bin removed. I lost all that space and bought a Taco Tunes box that goes on the drivers side, used the Fosgate amp and woofer. It was the best decision I have made with the system. The box mounts to the existing mounts in the rear wall and everything fits perfect.

Look at the measurements. I don't think so but I may be wrong. The 8 hits very hard and is super clean and clear sounding. The texture of the case matches the truck and the fitment seems like it was made just for that spot in the Tacoma.

I don’t think it would latch with the panel I didn’t try it though my seat is up all the time. No problem with passengers though. Round tubing is built it the seat back.

Our local stereo store, they do lots of custom stuff. Took them about an hour. The sub combo amp is only $279 and they were running a special $350 installed.
