New Tacoma owner, not new to Toyota.

My name is Brad and I have been a overlander for a very long time. I am co owner of Rocky Mountain Overland and until recently drove a 05 Land Rover LR3 as my primary overland vehicle. As it has passed 250k and in need of some extensive work I have decided to buy a 22 Tacoma TRD 4x4 offroad as my new overland build. As you can see by my screen name, it is MGM.

I am adapting some of my gear over to this vehicle and adding alot of new gear. This build will be somewhat mild but very capable. I have been lurking on here for some time and decided to begin interacting with some of you. Advice I have found so far has been predominately constructive however being a veteran forum participant I know some people tend to rain on everyone's parade. I am hoping to avoid this as much as possible.

I am also a 18 year veteran automotive technician of 5 different brands the most recent of which was as a used car recon tech at a Toyota dealership. That is no longer my profession. I know quite a bit about Toyota but am by no means a expert. I hope to inspire some with my build and will share all I can about my process and any decisions I made and why. Cheers!
