I have Kicker KS series 6x9 in the front doors and 6.5 in the rear doors with a small 4 channel amp. I have no complaints. Sure I could have spent more or some higher end speakers/components but for $89 for 6x9 and $62 for 6.5 but I think that these speakers have to be the best bang for the buck speakers out there. What makes or breaks speaker sound quailty is proper sound deadening. If you do not believe me ask Mrmarv he is the guru of car audio.

What are the measurements for the sub box? It looks like about 9.5" H x 6" D x 14" W? I'm thinking it would hit the seat back at the top of the box if you pushed the seat all of the way back.

Also, did you screw the amps into the floor? Any precautions against rust on the bottom? Undercoating or caulk or something? Any interference with the seat bottom on the top of the amps?

I'm slowly working on something similar. Despite recommendations I'll probably use a 4 channel amp and add a sub (2 channels bridged) only if I'm not happy with the bass from upgraded speakers. I'm not a total bass junkie yet, but I'm sliding that way a little. :) I've been crawling around inside of my truck with a measuring tape several times already.

    Please and thank you.
