Short thread, quick question. I've had my Total Tails V1 since they dropped in spring of 2019. It's one of my favorite things on this truck.

Every time I take the truck off-road, one of the taillights is dead by the time I come home. I remove the assembly to find that the bulb wiggled its way loose, and often has fallen into the housing. Both driver's side bulbs have taken turns being the culprit, then it was a passenger side bulb three weeks ago, and after this weekend's trip I've discovered a driver's side bulb is out again.

I plug em back in and they work just fine every time, but it's such a consistent thing now that I'm wondering if there's something I can do to make the bulbs stay put.

It's never happened with the reverse/turn bulbs. Just the taillights.

    Thanks!

That's odd. Don't think I've seen this happen to anyone else.

The activity on this thread says as much! Do you think maybe dialectic grease would help?

Not the meso bulbs but the LED bulbs I have in my taillights will loosen up after some hard hits offroad. I wrapped a layer or two of electrical tape around the bulb and then pressed it into the socket. The tape just causes it to have a tighter fit.

That would help for moister and corrosion, not for helping secure it (I would suggest doing it, I use it on all my exterior connections). I would try the above with tape and go from there.
