Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Went to swap out the HAM radio that came with my truck for a GMRS and found out the way it’s installed, I’m going to have to pull the entire center console lol.

completed my oil change over the weekend. Had a fumoto on my truck for several years. Buy the tube adapter and hose. It makes the process even easier and cleaner.

Finished up my intake relocate after fender trimming. Although it looks cool, and solved the whole dirt from wheel well issue, I feel like I lost some pep changing over to the new design.

Im looking at doing the same type of intake for mine as well. I've seen the other mod where you route the intake tube through the fire wall and under the wiper cowl.

I looked into that option but there were a few drawbacks I read about (in reality I think the couple issues I found were more from improper execution of the mod), and I didn't want to cut a 4" hole in my firewall. This scoop is drawing in the clean air from the front of the truck ahead of most of the dirt being kicked up. Hoping the ECU just needs time to calibrate the new air/fuel mixture, but the difference is almost imperceptible.

BTW selling my old set up.

Nice job. Although I can't help notice you have Toyota's Super White paint peel. Do you have any plans for that? Don't know what I'd do If I was facing that on my truck with Super White. Leave it, paint it or sell it....

Yea, it sucks. Thankfully the only places it's visible are around the windows. I wrapped the column between the front and back windows satin black like in the third gens. I have a quarter size patch that is all that's visible. Eventually I'll just wrap it. Could do most of it myself

Nice Truck! As far as dealing with the paint peel I guess I could live with something like that. Especially if you have customized the truck to your liking over the years. Feel bad for 040 owners and Toyota not covering the defect on 2nd & 3rd gens. However, looks like you have made the best of it.

Can you tell me about this bedrack? I have a new to me soft topper and might be interested in a setup like yours.

I've had mine for about a year now without a single issue. AC works fine, no debris at the air filter. Other than a little more intake noise the mod is imperceptible in the cab. Tons more space in the engine bay. I've also had a handful of hood depth(bow wake) water crossings since doing the cowl snorkel and not pulled in any water.

I dealt with this years back. I dremeled down the shock eyelets a bit, and used a good sized bolt with washers/nuts to spread out my shock mounts. Its a easy and controlled way to do it. After the shock fits you pull the mounts back in when tightening down the shock bolt.

Found out I fell victim to the blower motor not working unless on high due to a burnt connector which i hear is common in these trucks. Ordered a replacement kit with the new square wiring connector and new resistor. Also take it into the stealership this afternoon to get the ABS/TRAC light codes pulled so I can figure out which wheel sensor is bad and replace just that one instead of guessing. May be time to download a cracked copy of techstream or splurge for a more expensive scan tool.

For our trucks, I'm assuming you meant this one...

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N0X9K6M

But either way, did you have any problems with thread length, such as this reviewer?

I understand that's a totally different type of truck and size of fitting....just curious if you had any trouble with yours.
