Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Thats just it....I am a fan boy of JDfab products....they have yet to fail me at times where on a lot of other trucks im with would be getting towed home. Like you, I had to realign my truck after almost every wheeling trip.....I have not lost my alignment once since putting on the lca pivot kit and slide rack. I also attribute it to having uniball pivots instead of bushings. The whole package just performs...provided you use within its capable parameters and set it up properly.

 

I fine tuned my superbump spacing, and now durobumps after my third pair of supers blowing up, by stacking spacers then beating on it and seeing how much shock shaft was left. Then removing a bit and repeating, leaving a 1/4" or so on the table after a few sessions. I think this is probably the best method of figuring out spacer with a compressive type of bump rather than saying X works and not verifying or adjusting.

 

I, too, am a fanboy and don't have anything from JD. Trying to figure out how to collect enough free cash to get into it. With two young boys and all their activities, it's a slower process than I'd like.

So I'm trying to take the springs off the king coilovers to cycle the suspension. My spring compressor doesn't fit properly. I was just going to take it to a shop but everyone's closed today. Does anyone have a spring compressor they recommend that they know will work with the king coilovers and not hit the housing? Don't really want to spend 800 dollars on a nice one to use once a year.

Little mock up last night, still have to open up some of the existing holes to fit the bolts for full mock up. This is located currently on the intended carrier bearing cross member location. I have to make some room for more up travel.

This came down to about 135-136” wheel base with the links at their shortest config.

Who votes I send it 5 inches shorter and really put these coil overs in the cab? Lol

I know others push them into the cab. But it sure doesn’t look fun when it comes to getting at shocks.

 

It would still be longer than a dcsb. Wheelbase 127.4”
If I move the links forward 5 inches, I’ll likely be at least 130 with the heims at the shortest.

Yeah if I was doing an access cab I think It would be less of a pain. I’m still hoping to fit 2 seats or a bench back here so it would be tight.

I might just go with this 142” to 135” for the sake of not having to redo all of the back corner.

 

I've got a set for sale, its got a crossbar i made for it just not sure it would work for most since i designed it around an ls which has alot more room to angle down instead of going 90 down to the tower.
