That’s awesome! Always cool to see some pics of Hilux’s that people actually own instead of just stock photos from the internet.

Oh and i forgot to mention, I am not able to get a loan for a vehicle here in the Philippines but I was able to get a loan through NavyFCU for this truck and the best thing is it cost me $25,800 USD OTD for this truck. Much less than what it would cost me to pick up a Tacoma again back home.

Oh and the best part, it's a 4cyl turbo diesel and has more power than the 2016 TRD sport that i had before.

here are more pictures of the engine and interior. The door panels have blue LED light strips in them for ambient lighting. I thought that was a nice touch. When you purchase new vehicles here they also tint the windows very dark for free here because of the amount of sun and heat we have all year round so i put in a dash cam mirror with full screen rear video and mounted the camera under the rear sport bar.

bakkie 1.jpgMy fully loaded 2022 Hilux 2.4GD6 turbo diesel. Interior looks very much like yours only mine all is on reverse since we drive on the left. Mine is 6 speed manual. Nudge bar in front, roll bar, tonneau cover, tow hitch, locking rear differential etc. Load rated for 2200lb. In this picture at the back 1000lb on cement bags and many crates of beer and all the lumber on top. From here to the farm 18 miles took 40 minutes as the roads are bad. Only 2 and 3 gear useful. Good thing is them cup holders easily fit a 500ml beer can. This in the Kingdom of Eswatini where i have a place where i spend 6 months of the year. Welcome to the tropics.

In Palawan Phillipines a few months ago. Ran across this at a resort. Front bumper a bit large but would love to it in the states.
