My 2010 factory radio has a tendency to shut itself off randomly during the colder weather. Sometimes I have to turn it back on two or three times in a minute before it'll stay on and the cab warms up. Most of the time reception is good, but it has its moments. I keep thinking I should go the Crutchfield route but keep procrastinating thinking I may get something worst.

My factory radio works like it was designed - picks up AM - FM and Sirius (to which I subscribe). Plays CD's and USB drives. Have NEVER had an issue. Has never had a software update. FWIW
