    hi all,
I did some searching around the site and got alot of hits, but many are just references to the part number.

I picked up the ARB winch bumper for my 2001 quad cab 4x4 and will be installing it as soon as i purchase a winch to go in it.

the directions say an 8k winch fits it. those winches the reference specifically are either not in production anymore or are expensive... besides, if possible, I'd like to put a larger winch in just so it doesn't have to work as hard as a smaller one.

I'm specifically looking at the WARN EVO AND ZEON models. I know the control pack will need to be relocated, already know about the kit for that.

curious if anyone has installed an EVO or ZEON in them and did it require any mods such as custom brackets.

    any info would be appreciated.

    john

Can you rotate the freespool lever on those? I didn't see on the installation manual that you could.

Some good info and photos here. The 9.5k winches should fit, but will require relocation of the control box and re-clocking, potentially of both the motor and gearbox.

Warn M8000 fits, if the lower pull rating is acceptable. Easy to reclock.
