My bad I thought you meant you were doing a five tire rotation. If you aren’t rotating it in, a 5th sensor isn’t absolutely necessary, but still definitely nice to have it installed. It’d be even nicer if our ECUs had 5 slots…
It’s not a pain or difficult or anything, just an extra step every rotation

Installed the AJT Designs cup holder. Quality and feel are similar to OEM. Main surface has a smooth finish vs textured OEM finish. OEM cup divider slides easily in place. No issues with screw holes lining up. The dash cluster is not affected (tried with a 40 oz tall Hydroflask and has enough space for the USB port and climate control knob for example).

If using the cup divider however, Nalgene bottles and the like that are larger will not fit. Without the divider, bottles with a 32oz footprint like Nalgene, Hydroflask, etc have no issues fitting - even with a protective boot on a Hydroflask.

Also, compared to the Z-Precision cup holder, the AJT Designs has a recessed indentation for smaller bottles and cups. And almost half the price.

Pics of AJT Designs (left) vs OEM (right):

Does that recessed indentation actually do anything without smaller arms around the cup holder, like the MESO one being designed?

Went through a touchless car wash last night. Didn't think about it and set my parking break in the 20F weather.

Frozen solid this morning. Wouldn't break free even in 4H.

Waited until it was 41 degrees this afternoon. Crawled underneath and jiggle the parking brake cable. Actuated the hand brake and boom, all good.

I tried placing a regular sized bottle and can in there and you’re right - it doesn’t really do much even with the cup divider in place. The bottle and can had a fair amount of play to move around. The indentation is not deep enough to actually keep smaller sized bottles secure.

I guess the solution for the smaller bottles would just be to use the rear cup holders or the ones on the door side.

Added factory “trail rails” I picked up off Craigslist. And yes I know they’re not sliders. Wanted something to protect from rocks on the bottom of the doors/rockers and add some black to the sides of the truck without spending the $ on steps I don’t need and sliders I’ll probably never use for their intended purpose.

Nice.. I love how close they are to the truck and don't stick out.

I hated my factory steps took them off the day after i bought my truck.

I bought mine used with no steps and liked it, but couldn’t stand seeing the pinch seam under the doors so this made my OCD very happy.

Another solution is stick a thick walled koozie in one of the cup holders for smaller vessels.

They do, guy I bought them from didn’t have the hardware but it only took (12) 8mm x 1” bolts and some washers I had laying around.

Its 100% true that you need a VIN to purchase a Pro grille. They don’t ask for “your” VIN, just “a” VIN. Those are easy enough to find with a little digging on the interwebs. It’s getting harder and harder to find dealers willing to sell, even with a valid VIN. They are out there though.
