I have to agree with this.
Really liking Andor and honestly Bill Burr’s character was one of the best in recent Star Wars stories.

Meyfeld was trash the first time he appeared. His second appearance was great yeah, but he sold out Mando the first time.

I've read enough books to be quite familiar with the "regular mans" problems with the empire. I'm here for space magic, laser swords, and aliens. Yeah I'll watch these "filler" shows, but I'm just waiting for Grand Admiral Thrawn and what's happening in the unknown regions to finally make it's way to the big screen

They always said andor wasn't supposed to be a standard story.

I enjoyed it, really great atmosphere.

I can say I'd never watch it again, it's mostly forgettable.

I like Star Wars too but I’m not gonna waste my time watching something I don’t give a fuck about. Life’s too short.

    not enough.
I loved the finale. It had the right mix of action and heart. So much poetry in the show. I'm excited for season 2. Tony Gilroy is a great storyteller for sure.

So finally caught up on BB. One thing that was really stupid in the 2nd episode is how Tech as able to bring down the Gunship with like 2 hits of his repeating blaster.....I'm sure the droids wish they would've known that and they could've destroyed a lot more of em.

I think they should've just had the Marauder come in last second and blast it out of the way. Would've made more sense. Overall pretty good, glad they brought back Cody, hope to see a live action version of him & Rex soon :fingerscrossed:

Also, first scene first episode. If the crab shells are blaster proof why aren't they using them for armor?

Speaking of the BB, not really digging the way S2 is turning out. Lotsa seemingly stand alone episodes with limited tie ins to move story lines along. Sure there’s been some moments and it’s always nice to see Gungi. E3 had a ton of promise to lead to some game changers…Tech’s scene with Omega in the cave was so nicely done.

Yeah, I know there’s more episodes to come out and the animation is spectacular in some scenes but, IMHO S1>S2 so far.

I'm getting the same vibes, a few good ones here and there but so far I'm liking S1 better

Mando 3 Off to a pretty good start, they packed a lot into that episode, felt a little disconnected. I have a feeling the bathing in the waters on Sundari is gonna be quick, and we get to the real meat of the season.

For anyone who didn't watch the show Rebels, those were Purgill they saw in hyperspace. Space whales that disappeared with Ezra and Thrawn. I'm not a fan, but they are what they are, so whatever.

As far as Bad Batch goes, I'm super disappointed overall. The Omeeeega storyline is dumb, the failed treasure hunter shtick is tiring. These were the best of the best mercenaries, I'd like it to get to the point pretty soon

Yeah, BB season 2 seems VERY disjointed. almost like an after thought. :/

mando season 3 episode 1 is also pretty hectic but i like how it's working out. It introduces the pirate king and possibl conflict with him later on. And even bo katan being all pissy. more conflict down the road.

Hopefully we just see a Mando warship just blow it up for existing.

For anyone that never played the old KOTOR 1/2 games, the Mandalorians historically are complete savages, who waged a war against the Jedi just to find out who the better warriors were (the Jedi won that war). Dying in battle was considered an honor, and they would fight/kill for literally any reason possible. That was about 3500~ years prior, but explains why they are "ancient enemies"

Thought I’d just share some pics from that first episode of Mando season 3

    upload_2023-3-2_9-44-46.jpg

They built the entire city and then said “hey Ryan, we want to add 8’ blue screen walls to the entire city around the perimeter so we can edit in a second story and stuff like that”

So myself and 2 of my guys made walls, added thick vinyl sheet to the back, and blue screen to the front of about 500’ of walls. Pain in the ass. Had to do it all from scissor lifts on the inside and large boom lifts from the outside

    upload_2023-3-2_9-50-42.jpg

Then the set from the beginning of the episode with the big cave and big ass crocodile thing

My boss said, “I need you to make a big scaffolding around the cave, needs to follow the contour of the cave and needs to have a 4’ walk way all the way around with a 15’x40’ deck on top for camera and stunt people”

    OKAY BOSS

Yeah for sure. Some projects I wasn’t involved in like some of the on stage stuff because I’m the “backlot foreman” (outdoor stuff) and I was busy with a lot of that stuff but I’ll definitely most more stuff as the season goes along

    Here's the deal.

Does knowing how the pudding is made make the pudding any less delicious?

    No.

If anything, we are even more amazed that the pudding as is wonderful as it is.
