Anything to help out brother

I dont think I remember ever seeing it without the fenders on it. Always just figured you cut holes in the bed for the shocks. Its always just looked so good in the videos.

Yeah decided to ditch the bed. Spare tire takes up 80% of it anyways. This way I was also able to dovetail it some as well. 10” narrower than stock in the rear. Thought about bobbing it as well but decided against it in the end.

Yeah kinda pointless with the spare back there. I dig the dove tail and the longer bedside. Makes the truck look better IMO. Atleast on the second gens. First gen crawlers look great with the bobbed beds.

Yeah maybe if it was a single cab or access cab. But especially a double cab, doesn’t look right with the bobbed bed. And it’s still very capable in the rocks

You are right. The double cab would be funky but a single cab could look sweet. I been wanting a send gen single cab to build for a while now. I dig the small RC car look they end looking like.

I saw that Holley Performance acquired ADS earlier this year. I wonder if that will affect anything in the future?

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Long time no see everyone.... a couple things:

-2gen steering racks: Don't have any leaks yet, but have TONS of play, and some whine. 165kish miles. Prerunner. Was going to pull it and do the inner and outer tie rods and new bushings, but then figured might as well replace the whole thing since it already comes with inners on it & new bushings of course. Might upgrade the bushings before install.

-Who local has done one? How much of a PITA is it going to be? I'm thinking I should see if my old local TW mechanic will do this for me if it's a huge PITA.
-OEM still the best option for steering racks?
-Probably aging myself here, but do we still have a local hookup at Camelback for deals on parts? Gunny was the man, hopefully still is.

Besides that, hope y'all area doing well. Everyone who has no idea who I am, what it be, I'm Rob
