Yep. In fact, until a few years ago he had a negative opinion of private gun ownership. He's come around.

 

Another grind week... Coworker doesnt come back till next week and hopefully we will hire someone soon for the open position.

How'd he do?

 

We found out he right handed, but left eye dominate so that complicated things. But we figured out some adjustments and at 10 yards he did really well for his first time. He really liked the compact guns and I liked the S&W M&P Shield+ so much that I'm going to get one.

RADAR CHECK: Showers are widespread over the northern half of Alabama early this morning, north of a surface front over South Alabama. The front will be moving slowly northward as a warm front, and occasional showers are likely across North/Central Alabama through tonight. Highs today will range from the 50s across the Tennessee Valley of North Alabama, to the 70s over the southern third of the state.

WARM DAYS: Temperatures over North Alabama will actually rise tonight through the 60s as the warm front continues to move northward, and we are forecasting highs in the 70s statewide tomorrow through Thursday.

We will maintain the chance of showers tomorrow, but Wednesday and Thursday look mostly dry as an upper ridge over the Gulf builds northward. Rain amounts this week will vary from over two inches across the Tennessee Valley, to basically nothing over the southern third of Alabama.



FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND: A cold front will bring the risk of a few scattered showers Friday; highs drop into the 60s. Then, for the weekend, highs will be in the 57-64 degree range for most of the state. There are considerable differences in global model output concerning rain chances for the weekend, making for a low confidence forecast, but there will be some risk of rain both days.

ON THIS DATE IN 1953: At least four tornadoes touched down across northeastern Louisiana, southeastern Arkansas, and western Mississippi on this day. The strongest tornado was rated F5 as it destroyed the town of Vicksburg, Mississippi. This tornado first touched down just west of the Mississippi River in East Madison Parish in Louisiana. The tornado crossed the Mississippi River and tore through the downtown area of Vicksburg. On the ground for seven miles, this tornado caused 38 deaths, 270 injuries.

 

I was 28 before I figured out I was left eye dominant and right handed. I had always shot rifles with my right eye and hand. Then one day I'm shooting pistols with a buddy and he noticed I was shooting with my left eye. So I guess I can do both lol. I tried to start shooting lefty because it was a lot easier on my eyes but its tough to switch.

 

Me too unfortunately. I was probably in my 30s before I realized it. Heck I was probably that old before I knew there was a dominant eye.

sup fellas, another busy day here

 

Same here, I really dislike the month of December. Its Hell at work and at home lol. After Thanksgiving we literally have something to do or go to every weekend. I'm just ready for the new year.

 

Mines because we had someone take another job and another guys wife had a baby exact same time. Theres only 4 of us doing my job so im literally doing double the work which sucks

 

Oh yeah that sucks.

 

Well my truck is built waiting on a rail car. Hopefully by the end of the month.

Wife’s birthday is today and Ive got to get her something. Any suggestions? I offered her money but she acted insulted.
