Not sure where you are located, that has an impact. I had mine in less than a week. Ordered it Friday and was at my house the following Thursday with July 4 weekend in there

Are any of you running a fridge in the cargo area with the Diamondback cover? If so, which fridge are using? I currently have a 50L National Luna and it’s already 1.5” taller than the tailgate. Thanks

I’ve had two of them. What I’ll say is they are worth it if you keep expensive tools/items in your bed. I wouldn’t see much reason to invest in one if there isn’t need for basically what is a truck bed vault. I really like tool box you can have in addition to the cover. I definitely would buy them again.

Why would you not want them pre-installed?

I purchased mine without the cleats installed. The reason I purchased mine without the cleats installed is because I was going to be installing an Uptop bed rack and thought the holes for the cleats would be pre-drilled on the Diamond back. The holes are not pre-drilled and I spent a lot of time measuring before I started drilling. I would suggest getting the cleats preinstalled unless you are 100% sure you will never use them.

I did install the Front Runner racks, so I have drilled into my Diamondback. However I'd personally have the factory install the cleats ... I wouldn't at all consider doing so myself. Once you drill holes in the lid, if the holes are off, the holes are off. The factory will have the cleats perfectly lined up.

P.S. The SE comes with four cleats ... I'd rather have them then not, and it's not like it's covered with cleats.

    Oh, man!

Good info on the cleats and having them factory installed!

I wouldn't want to drill either.

Hey guys I have a question. The first rail bolt you have to take out for the installation.I tried as hard as I could and it wouldn’t budge. Mine stripped and it seems alotnof people did too. I looked in the fender and saw this. Is this the right bolt because it has a nut on it.
