Recently my bluetooth has been very glitchy in my truck and uninstalling and re pairing my iphone hasn't done anything. I was told that i should look at updating the software on my stereo but unlike some upper tier models my base model unit doesnt auto update. How do i do it and where are the file? via usb is what i was told but that is it. Attached is what my headunit looks like.

    Oh look, another mod....
@tonered can help you get the most recent Entune Version and give you instructions how to upload it into your current head unit.

Not really the same as my issue but still a very interesting issue. Sorry to hear and hope it got resolved. Mines a glitchy bluetooth while in the truck. I was told to download a file on a usb to update the system.

There have been two updates to the 8" head unit this year and they don't update automatically. The dealer updated one for me. Neither update has totally corrected my problem. I also have the same problem in my Highlander with a different flash drive. I don't see Toyota fixing this issue. I just have to turn the head unit back on and select USB drive and it will continue with the same song. They basically tried to blame my flash drive as the problem.
