Good thing it came with full Tire and Rim protection.

Pulled it out of the garage as my dad came from out of town to see the nice new Shiney piece of financial burden ... lol. .. as soon as I pulled it out of the garage where it's been for at least the last 4 days .. rear tire flat.

I'm wondering why the app didn't push notify me .. very strange... but when I booted up the app to see if it's working after filling the tire up with air .. it is and it's still losing psi.

Let's see if Toyota stands behind their warranties....

Is a flat tire covered by warranty?

Why would they fight you over that, then? It's exactly what that plan covers

I think I was on my second tank of gas in my new Taco and got a flat. It happens. Took the tire shop awhile to find it. It was a tiny tip of a broken street sweeper brush. And even if you didn't have the Toyota warranty, Discount Tire or Les Schwab will patch it for free, even if never a customer before. Assuming it is in the tread, not the sidewall.

Just fixed a nail hole at discount tire, free patch plug. 1700 miles on truck, I will say I’ve had bad luck with Goodyear in the past. A nail is a nail it happens, if I get another nail I’m switching tires lol!

Jeez. The last time I got a flat was around 1995 in the middle of Utah. Had to change it out there on the interstate, take it to the only shop in Green River, Utah where we had to wait about an hour for them to fix it and they would not put it back on my truck for me, y'know, because it was off the truck when I brought it in.

I still think I'd blame the nail.

Sounds about right. I had less then 300 miles on my FJC before I got my first stone star chip in the windshield. I'm glad airbags aren't set off by a loud "ARRRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Pulled into the next auto parts store and bought a chip seal kit and fixed it right then and there.

Any Canadian places that offer the same service, or is it just a US tire shop thing to fix flats for free to try and drum up good customer relations?

My local mom and pop tire shop in Canada will fix flats for free.

I'm not sure of any chains up here that do though. I seem to remember hearing Kal Tire will but I don't see it expressly written on their website.

That's the FJC's fault, upright windshield and all. :p Jeep Wranglers have a similar problem

Take it back to where you bought it if they can’t throw you a bone and it’s Toyota take your service business elsewhere
