    Hi All,
Can I get a sense check on this please? Local Line-X dealer quoted "~$600 total" (~$300 to send it out for sandblast and primer powder coat + ~$300 for the Line-X). Bumper was shipped plain steel and has been in the basement about a year. The Winchester, VA Line-X shop says for adhesion reasons they will only do bare steel bumpers like this if sand blasted and powder coated in primer, $600 is quite a bit more than I had estimated (FWIW local body shop says ~$400 for "Prep", prime and paint). Any feedback would be appreciated. IMG_4428.jpg

Ended up going with Bulletliner; Harrisonburg, VA https://www.bulletliner.com VERY good service, reasonable price and very happy with the end result!

If you expect to actually bump against it, it'd just rattle can it. The finish is going to get messed up anyway.

Happy with the end result. (Just need to work out the fender liner; going to try and do some relief cuts, then shape/fold/rivet with heat gun to give the front side / foglight area some coverage. Sooner or later I'll probably yield to temptation and get a winch. That will definitely require some help.

I love the smell of a fresh cut bumper, lol. How painful was the 1st cut?
    Looks great!
