I have lots of fun toys, but none more fun than this spicy tomato. Prefer it over anything. Give it the beans and struggle to keep the front wheel on the ground.

I don't have anything "cool" anymore, just the Tacoma and this '19 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium.

It's a decent commuter wagon with AWD for shitty winters in my part of the country.

I want one of those really bad: premium with a manual transmission.

Are dealers still putting mark ups on them, or has some type of sanity returned? I'll pay MSRP, but refuse to pay any type of dealer availability markup.

It's a great car that really compliments the Tacoma, which I still love to drive. Super fun in the canyons I have near me :)

Regarding markups: I'm not too sure as I've stopped checking since getting mine this past August. My dealer did not charge a markup (Stapp Interstate Toyota in Colorado). Someone on Reddit put together a dealer markup doc (link here). It seems like many dealers are charging markups but there's also a number of others who are not.

I put a deposit down at two dealers and got a refund from the one that wasn't able to get me an allocation. Good luck!

I might try my luck in 2023. Thankfully I have my X-Runner and my "beater" 2008 Acura TSX. I'll sell the Acura when I get my GR-86, but I'm keeping my X-Runner forever...lol

I haven't had a car that I would go out to just drive for no other reason than to drive since I sold my E30 M3. I see this as the spiritual successor to that car, not the current M2 (which is a phenomenal automobile with 2X the power).

My new project: 1984 Chrysler Laser.

Been sitting since the early 2000s so it needs a looooot of work.
It is a bucket list car for me... The price was right... And it has a functional Electronic Voice Alert system (it talks to you).

Rad! Mid-80s cars have a special place in my heart. Looks like a fun project.

    What's the powertrain?

& Those seats look extremely comfortable.

    2.2 turbo with 5 speed.

Got the engine out. Don't look seized. Replacing the top end at the moment.

Might need a new turbo though. I'll snap some pics later.

Interior very well preserved. Think it was in a shed for a good part of it's sitting. No animal nests far as I can tell.
