Coworker goes to Tony's on Eagle Scout road. He does check stuff, but never pulled tires. Also said B & M Auto on RT11 across from Rock's bar will do them. Both ya gotta be there around 8am as they do inspections early in the morning.

 

For my spring swap project I’ve found a set of lift spring spacers that should work great as a spring perch. Just gotta wait for the new coils to show up and check the measurements to make sure.
Any opinions if I should use a spring isolator? I see that most coil overs don’t use them at the bottom.

Thanks, she was a beautiful ride inside & out. I planned to install a AirRide suspension. But then i bought my cabin & a new SxS so i started spending my weekends playing up there on the mountain. Car just sat so it was time to let her go. A collector in Alabama bought it. This pic is me dropping it off at the truck plaza to be loaded on a semi. The sky was crying that day lol.

I’m using the same top hats from when I put the lift on a couple years ago. It’s the bottom spring perch that I need to swap. The Ironman springs are rounded on the bottom and are 3” inner diameter. There are not many other springs like that. The lowest rated IM springs are 720 and while the rides not bad, I convinced myself it might be better with 650 springs on there.
That’s where I’m at now, I think my plan will work. Looking at some other spring perches, like the 5110 and oem, there is not a lot of material those springs sit on.

 

Not a great pic showing it, but the bottom spring perch is just a slip on perch, supported by the 2 lock nuts.
I just need something else, like the spacers I posted, to be new flat perches.

Looks great and great price too, just not sure it’s the route I want to go. Looking for more of the N-Fab angle style. Like I said, trying to put it on top of the bed bars. But this thing will sell quick it sounds like! Thanks John!

Did you? Sorry if I missed that. Lol, sometimes I don’t comprehend what I read… I bought my SPC UCAs from them a couple years ago and it was a great purchase and price!
Is she still there? I thought there were new people there.
Right now I’m waiting for the springs to get here and check the outside measurements to make sure I get it right.


My main concern, is if my truck will get oem like front end dips and body roll again from the lower rated springs. I won’t know till they’re on and dialed in. I’m not concerned about the lift it gives me, the 255s will be good with an alignment. And look good either way.
No one with the Foam Cells have tried this yet, at least not that posted here or that I could find with google.

I LOVE snow. I want it. If I had 50" a year I'd love it (thatswhatshesaid). I can never get snow.

I've moved regularly since 2000. (Since 2000, I moved to six regions/cities; but two moves in Western WA, two moves in 'bama, two in Detroit area, one in Germany, two in OK, one move to here)

Every time I move to a place, generally for as long as I'm there but at least for the following winter, the new place has unseasonably warm (and often rainy) winters. BUT - the place I left gets RECORD snowfall.

My boss told me the other day last year they had their first snow on 3 Dec. This year? Won't happen this month. The news told him the last time this area has not had their first snowfall until February? 1973. Feb 1973 is 3 months after I was born.

I'm sorry y'all. Sorry i'm ruining winter.
